AMS Industries – Woodridge, IL

AMS Industries is a full-service MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) contractor that understands the intricacies of building systems better than anyone. When they decided to optimize their own headquarters in Woodridge, they chose a 530kW storage system and 200kW of solar. Because AMS performed their own EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) work, this project serves as a "living proof of concept" for their clients. It demonstrates how a mid-sized industrial facility can achieve high-level energy independence and participate in lucrative grid frequency regulation services.
