2017 Outlook – Letter of Interest for a 2-16 MW system

January 10, 2017

Aided by bullish reports, sinking costs and some prime-time publicity courtesy of TESLA’s Elon Musk, Energy Storage is now becoming accepted by businesses as a capable, reliable energy resource. This is also reflected in the richness of our client pipeline, cultivated either directly of through our channel partners.

This was illustrated in recent days when a confidential customer signed a Letter of Interest for a solar + storage management system to deliver 2 MW, and later up to 16 MW, of backup power to an entire industrial operation sensitive to frequent power outages. The project is scheduled for 2H2017 and will expand IG operations outside of PJM and into another grid operator zone.
