Continental Energy Solutions is one of the premier solar and storage EPCs in the Midwest, and their Oak Brook headquarters reflects their technical expertise. They installed a 100kW storage system and 500kW of solar to serve as a showcase for potential customers and a testbed for new optimization strategies. This project highlights how even a smaller-scale battery, when managed by sophisticated software, can provide significant ROI by participating in demand response programs and "firming up" the facility’s solar output.
