Chicago, March 6, 2011- Jay Marhoefer, Founder and CEO of Intelligent Generation, testified before the Illinois legislature in favor of bill HB14, called the the Infrastructure Modernization Act.
Jay Marhoefer started: “Good morning Chairman Holbrooke and members of the committee. My name is Jay Marhoefer, and I am the CEO of a Chicago-based clean energy technology company named Intelligent Generation. I appear before you today to voice my support for House Bill 14. The first question that is probably on your minds is: what is Intelligent Generation? What does our company do? Intelligent Generation is a software technology that combines solar energy and battery storage to turn homes and commercial buildings into virtual power plants. It then networks these buildings together to create a large bloc of clean and stored energy that can be tapped into at critical, valuable times.”
