Intelligent Generation today announced full commercial operations of the 3.5MW rooftop solar + 2MW TESLA energy storage system at Magid Glove & Safety Company in Romeoville, IL. The project earned its first revenues in PJM fast response frequency regulation market (grid stabilization service) clearing consistently with the highest performance metrics.
The MAGID rooftop is the largest commercial solar array in the Midwest, and among the top 5 in the US. The project is enabled and managed by IG’s cloud-based software (IG POWR:Suite), which integrates solar energy with energy storage to profitably improve operations and build resiliency. Intelligently managed microgrids connected to the main grid provide companies with economic competitive advantage.
